CHILDREN'S ART ORGANIZATION
The Super Art League is a league of super Artists integrating visual art with performance art to empower youth through curiosity, creativity, and compassion.
Community Sculptures
Our community sculptures represent themes that reflect parts of a whole working together to make a difference while preserving the individuality of each part. Students paint their individual mini-mural on a piece of wood that becomes part of the overall structure of sculpture. Co-creating sculptures together in this way embodies the power of working together in community.

Holding Hands - Global Empathy
2022 Columbus City Schools
6'x 6' mixed-media wooden sculpture
Global Empathy means listening to all the voices on the planet. It is the action of treating all human beings as unique and beautiful pieces of Art. As great listeners, we celebrate what makes us different and we hold each other’s hands when we are mistreated for being different. “Holding Hands” is a large mixed media sculpture of an acrylic globe surrounded by rings of small wooden hands holding up the world. In the spirit of global empathy, 200 Fine Arts Pathway students and teachers from Columbus City Schools Summer Experience 2022 co-created this community sculpture with the Super Art League. The mirror inside of this globe is a reminder for all of us as viewers to see and treat each other as a reflection of ourselves.
Global empathy is everyone’s responsibility.
